A Cold One - The Walkout
Property of the WWE
One can sit and wonder why people can walk away from something that they loved so much.  Doing so is one of the hardest things anyone can do.  There are many reasons why but not all of them are clear in understanding.  Some talk about the issues, while others simply don't.  We all have our pride to protect.

Stone Cold walked away from the WWE twice.  The first time was on March 18, 2002, which was the day after WrestleMania.  As I recall, the reason was that he was burnt out from working.  During that time, a two-week period, was hard on the fans, including myself.  As a norm, the one's who lost a major match in a PPV didn't show up the following day.  I was shocked to hear that he walked out.

The last walkout was on June 10, 2002.  The Monday where he was suppose to have Ric Flair as his personal assistant.  Once again, I was shocked.  He beat Ric Flair a week before to get himself of the bench.  Now he's gone???  Well, I had to see what was written in the RAW Magazine.  The point is... WWE is storylined and he didn't like where his character is going.

For months, he was losing heart, the desire and the passion to compete.  I don't blaim him.  I saw him get screwed out of the title when he faced the Undertaker with Ric Flair as the guest referee.  Ric Flair said, "I'm sorry.  I made a mistake.  To make it up to you, I'll give you the nWo." or something to that effect.  The nWo???  Why not a title shot that Monday night???  That's fucked up if you ask me.  So, Austin went along and the fued with the nWo continued.  That lead to the handicap match at Judgement Day, which Austin won by the way.  Ric Flair said the legal man wasn't pinned and took the win away from Austin.  Then Ric Flair put him on the bench.  While on the bench, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit started a fued with Austin.  To top things off, Austin pissed on Arn Anderson before his "off-the-bench" match against Ric Flair.

So you tell me...  Didn't anyone see his walk-out coming???  The RAW Magazine can say whatever it wants.  For all I know, Austin is a hell raiser but, I don't think he really wanted to piss on Arn Anderson and have Ric Flair as his personal assistant.  I guess this is Austin's way of giving the finger to us all...

I do hope Austin come back to the WWE.  He's my all-time favorite superstar.  He made an impact on my life and my attitude.  When I play spades, I'm fearless and ruthless.  No, I'm not Austin nor anywhere near his stature but I learned not let anyone walk all over me.  For that, I thank him...

As of Sept. 18, 2002, StoneCold.com is still online.  Is this a sign of a possible return???  Or is the WWE still making money off of him???  One more thing, I once saw a pic of Arn Anderson shirt being pissed on.  Now, the pic and the video of that incident cannot be found... But I do remember it!!!

I don't know when StoneCold.com was taken of the net and redirected to the WWE.com website.  If you are interested in getting the latest SCSA news, opinions, and multimedia, then come check this Yahoo Group out.
