| Spades History - Hosting Return | ||||||||||
| I became a Tournament Director for Spadeslite on Feb. 01, 2004. I had a wonderful turnout on my first night. I had a full tournament with eight teams and we started on time. The support that I had that night encouraged me to do more. I decided to host on regular nights. I wanted to do more for the league and help out whenever possible. This is why I wanted to be a TD in the first place and besides, I missed it when I started playing spades again. On Feb 12, 2004, I became a TD for Fantasy Player. I wanted to help this league out too. However, due to this league being a morning league, I was unable to host, let alone play, as much as I did for Spadeslite. I only hosted one tournament and I couldn't do more. I tried a couple of times but there was a lack of players on the weekend. Don't blame anyone because, I do reserve my weekends for my family. Cases automatically purged me from the Fantasy Player TD listing for being inactive to host. However, I do what I can, when I can and that's all I have to say. I did enjoy hosting all of my tournaments for Spadeslite. My normal days/times were Mondays at 7pm est and Thursdays at 7pm and 9pm est. The first Saturday for every month, I hosted my "Rattlesnake's Challenge". This monthly tournament was named "The End of the Month Stunner". I had the pleasure of hosting the second TOC Tournament on May 01, 2004. Sadly, I was wrongfully terminated as TD on May 06, 2004. Afterwards, I withdrew from the league.
